The Residential Centre is
at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the middle of Dulverton.
Dulverton offers access to Exmoor National Park and is handy
for canoeists wishing to use the River Barle. Dulverton has
doctors (01398 323333), a dentist (01398 323426), Natwest
bank, supermarket, information centre (01398 323841) etc.
There is a heated open-air swimming pool at the Middle School
(01398 323223) which can be booked June through August. There
is an excellent visitor centre to while away a wet afternoon
and which can advise on all kinds of activities, a range of
local walks, with or without a ranger, pony trekking, quad
biking, deer or badger watching.
